Meet the 2018 Mohawks Position Players
 
Catchers
Sam Praytor – Alabama – Starting catcher as a freshman hitting .270 while hitting 4th-6th in their lineup
Ray Pastrana – Marshall – their cleanup hitter having a monster year hitting .352 with 10 homeruns
Hunter Brittain – South Alabama – 15th round draft pick out of high school has played part time as a freshman but has big time power potential. Hitting .250 with 2 home runs 
 
Infielders
Tanner Allen – Mississippi State – hit 3rd and started every game as a freshman. Hitting .278 on the season
Cole Barr – Indiana – battled hamstring issues all spring. Expected to be one of top players in program when healthy
Justin Foscue – Mississippi State – starting 3B as a true freshman. Hitting .272 with 2 HRs so far
Toby Welk – Penn State Berks – D3 player hitting an astonishing .505 with 9 homeruns this season
Elvis Peralta – Marshall – Not eligible to play this season. Was dynamic in JuCo last season and expected to be one of the top players in the conference next season
Richie Nizza – Florida Atlantic – hitting .260 on the season for the Owls
Ben Rhodes – Herkimer CC – starting SS for the Generals hitting .302. Local Amsterdam player
 
Outfielders
Chris Lanzilli – Wake Forest – regular left fielder for Wake as a freshman. Has had a great second half and hit in the middle of their lineup at times. Hitting .246 wit 4 home runs
JP Bitzenhofer – Dyersburg CC – transfer from Kentucky, hits 4th for JuCo power Dyersburg. Hitting .372 on the season
Richie Barrella – Manhattan - Cleanup hitter all season hitting .314 on the season
Mike Ludowig – Wake Forest - Starting right fielder as a true freshman for Wake hitting .256 on the season
Mike Antico – St. Johns – staring left fielder/DH for the Red Storm. 6.3 runner hitting .275 on the year with 2 homeruns
Diamond Johnson – Florida Atlantic – former draft pick out of high school, plays part-time for FAU in the outfield
