NEW HARTFORD, N.Y. – Fifty players from across the 15 teams of the Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League (PGCBL) have been selected as members of the 2025 All-League First, Second, and Honorable Mention Teams.
Deserving players were nominated by their teams at each position and the league office selected the 17 players to fill each of the three teams. One player was selected at each of the infield positions, along with four outfielders, two designated hitter/utility players, three relievers and three starting pitchers.
Included in the First Team are Player of the Year TJ Gramesty (Elmira) and Pitcher of the Year James Redick (Amsterdam).
Auburn's Tyler ViVacqua was selected to the First Team in two different positions - as a second baseman, where he batted .308 with 36 runs scored, and as relief pitcher, after recording 4 saves with a 1.53 earned run average.
The Jamestown Tarp Skunks led all teams with eight players selected to the All-League Teams, followed by six apiece from Amsterdam, Boonville, and 2025 champions Saugerties. Three of those Boonville selections ended up on the First Team, including third baseman Andy Perez, who broke the PGCBL record with 45 stolen bases this season. He was joined by first baseman Carter McKay and outfielder Chase Triplett. Jamestown and Saugerties were represented on the First Team by DH Nathan Borchardt and reliever Mason Weaver, respectively.
The Mohawks put two of their players on the First Team, with catcher Bray Touchstone joining his battery-mate in Redick.
West Division regular season and playoffs champion Batavia had five honorees, while Utica and Niagara Falls, the two three-seeds in the postseason, each saw four players honored. Batavia claimed an outfielder spot with Brayden Horton and also saw standout pitcher Luc Rising named as a First Team starter.
The Blue Sox were led by First Team selections Matt Colella (DH/UTIL) and Luke Baker (SP). Niagara Falls also had two players on the First Team, outfielder Grant Moore and reliever Hudson Boring.
ViVacqua was one of two Doubledays to claim three spots on the list. Geneva had two players selected, as did the Niagara Ironbacks, who in their first season of play produced First Team shortstop Carter Shin. Gramesty was the lone recipient from Elmira, while Newark, Oneonta, Glens Falls and Mohawk Valley all had one player selected for recognition as well.
