Mohawks Take Down Stallions, 8-4

Amsterdam, NY -- Mohawks take down Stallions 8-4

The Amsterdam Mohawks defeated the Saugerties Stallions 8-4 on Tuesday night at Rao Family Stadium. Keith Jones led the way for the Mohawks with 2 hits and 2 RBIs on the night. Jake Reinisch, CJ Funk, Kai Roberts, and Bryce Eblin all added RBI hits.

The Stallions were backed by a 6th inning two-run homer off the bat of Tyler Kelder, but that just was not enough to keep up with the Mohawks offensive prowess. Albert Jennings added an RBI hit for the Stallions cause.

The pitching victory goes to Brian Yetter for the Mohawks and Theo Milas gets the loss for the Stallions.

The two teams meet two more times this week, tomorrow night in Saugerties at 7:05 as well as Friday night in Amsterdam at 6:35.
