Tuesday’s game between the Mohawks and Outlaws ended in a 0-0 tie as the rain came and ended the game in the sixth inning.

The Outlaws did plate a run in the sixth inning; however, the rain came in the bottom of the sixth while the Mohawks were still batting and because the inning was not completed, the score reverts to the last completed inning which was 0-0 at the end of the fifth.

Each team officially recorded 2 hits and 1 error. CJ Funk (Pitt) and Kai Roberts (Utah) recorded the 2 hits for the Mohawks while Reilly Hall (Coker) doubled, and Brendan Harris (Cypress) singled for the 2 Outlaws hits.

Nick Smith (Evansville) started for the Mohawks officially going 5 scoreless innings allowing 2 hits and no walks with 8 strikeouts. Matthew Dubois (Saint Peter’s) started for the Outlaws going 5 scoreless innings allowing 2 hits and 3 walks with 5 strikeouts.

The Mohawks are on the road tomorrow night to face the Saugerties Stallions at 7:05.
