The Amsterdam Mohawks are happy to announce the return of Head Coach Keith Griffin for the 2022 season. Griffin has been a mainstay in the Mohawks dugout, leading the team to 12 straight Eastern Division Titles, 7 PGCBL Championships, and an overall record of 436-175 since his hiring in 2009. In addition, over 150 former Mohawks have signed to play professionally in that span, including first round pick Justin Foscue of Mississippi State, a 2018 Mohawk.
"Getting Coach Griff back is always our top priority in the off-season. He coaches the players all summer and holds them to a higher standard, that ultimately makes them go back to their colleges as better players", said Mohawks President Brian Spagnola.
"Amsterdam is like my second home and I am excited to be coming back again in 2022. You can't find more passionate fans anywhere and I always tell the players that we want to win for them. We will work our hardest to keep bringing a championship product to Amsterdam", said Griffin.
The 2022 schedule will be released soon with an expected opening during the first week in June.
