Amsterdam wasn’t done yet as Zach Eldred came up next and singled moving Ladehoff over to third and he would score during the next at-bat on a wild-pitch making it 5-3. Drake Digiorno stepped in with 2 outs and singled to center, Zach Eldred would score to make it 6-3, but Digiorno was thrown out trying to extend the single into a double which would end the inning.

Manny Santos would return for the ninth and only needed 10 pitches to mow down the next 3 batters and add 2 more strikeouts to his tally to secure the 6-3 win for the Mohawks and his first win for himself, improving to 1-0.

The Mohawks are now 16-3 on the season with the win. Jackson Coen took the loss for Saugerties falling to 1-1 as the Stallions now sit at 15-4-1.
