The Mohawks bats stayed hot as they followed their 20-run performance with a 15-2 win over the Glens Falls Dragons at East Field on Saturday night.

The first inning started with bases loaded walks to Bray Touchstone and Jayden Harriel. Wes Walker followed with an RBI single and Brad Curtis hit a sac-fly as the Mohawks took a 4-0 lead before the Dragons came to bat.

An RBI triple by former Mohawk Tyler Figueroa got the Dragons on the board in the third inning to cut the deficit to 4-1, but the Mohawks roared back with 5 runs in the fourth. Luke Filippi hit an RBI double, Jake Long hit a sac-fly, Bray Touchstone hit an RBI single and Jayden Harriel hit a 2-run single, increasing the Mohawks lead to 9-1.

The Dragons got a run in the bottom of the fourth, but the Mohawks answered again in the fifth with a Jake Long RBI double and a Chris Hoalcraft 2-run single, giving the Mohawks a 12-1 lead.

The top of the seventh was the final blow as Luke Filippi scored on a wild pitch and Chris Hoalcraft hit a 2-run single.

The Mohawks improved to 6-0 while the Dragons fell to 1-4. Amsterdam will be on the road in Saugerties tonight before returning home on Tuesday night.
