The Dragons scored 2 runs in the top of the 5th as a result of a wild pitch and an error by the catcher, cutting the Mohawks lead to 4-3. However, the Mohawks broke it open in the bottom of the 5th, scoring 4 runs on 4 hits and 2 errors.

In the 6th, Phoenix Hernandez (Southern New Hampshire) scored on a passed ball to make it 8-4, but the Mohawks regained their 5 run lead in the bottom of the 8th when Eric Rivera scored on a wild pitch.
