With the bases loaded the Dragons went to Spencer Smith and the Mohawks quickly jumped on his delivery as Sam Zayicek broke from third and stole home. The pitch ended up going to the backstop and with Landon Jordan quickly followed behind Zayicek and scored as the Mohawks lead 8-2 in the eighth.

In the ninth, Dalton Reese opened the scoring again as he drove in Michael Turconi and Geordon Blanton with a 2-run single. Landon Jordan was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded and forced in Sam Zayicek. A couple batters later, Paul Franzoni hit a 2-run single to drive in Dalton Reese and Kevin Jimenez.
