The Mohawks and DiamondDawgs played 1 inning at Vet's Memorial Stadium before a storm came and washed out the rest of the game.

The Mohawks took the lead in the first when Michael Turconi (Wake Forest) hit a single to right field that scored Kevin Jimenez (New Mexico State). Dylan Smith (Alabama) started and pitched a scoreless first inning before the game was called.

The Mohawks are off Sunday and head to Watertown to play the Rapids at 6:15.
