The Stallions got on the board in the bottom of the third, after back-to-back walks by Mathis McKenna, the Stallions got their first hit of the game which yielded their first run of the game on an Aiden Schmidt RBI single. That was followed by a Cooper Schmidt sacrifice-fly and cut the Mohawks lead to 6-2.

In the sixth, Nick Croce hit an RBI double off Harrison Hicks which cut the Mohawks lead to 6-3. With 2 on and 2 out, the Mohawks turned to Derek Duval to try and end the inning. A walk to Mason Gazzaway loaded the bases and Jayden Hamilton delivered the big blow as he hit a bases clearing 3-run double to tie the game at 6. Duval was able to rebound and kept the go-ahead run stranded at third.
