The Mohawks are firm believers that athletic excellence and academic excellence go hand in hand. That is why we’ve partnered with Fidelis Care to celebrate the achievements of area students with our Classroom MVP program. Each game night a different school’s students will be honored on-field between innings to recognize the academic achievements these students have earned throughout the school year.

On your school’s game night, check in at the main gate upon entry. Students will be honored during an inning break between at some point between the first to the fifth inning and receive a certificate to recognize their accomplishments. Listen for the announcement from Barry as he will announce which school should report behind the first base dugout in the half inning before the ceremony will take place.

Parents are welcome to enter the field and stand on the warning track along the dugout to take photos. Please be mindful of players entering and exiting the field and leave open spaces for them to maneuver as they have limited time to prepare for their next assignment. Once the ceremony is complete, please be courteous and exit the field promptly so the game may resume. We encourage you to take additional photos with our official backdrop behind the first base dugout and depending on availability, players may join in the photo opportunities behind the dugout.
